Medical Technologist (MT, MLS, CLS) ASCP/No Regular Weekends

Night Shift Medical Technologist needed. Monday through Thursday, four 10 hour shifts. Work as a generalist at a critical access hospital- gain experience in ALL areas of the laboratory on a daily basis. Participate in collaborative hospital care teams in a patient-centered environment, and take on leadership roles that are not always available in larger facilities. The workload is well-paced, and schedules provide good work-life balance. The Allen County Regional Hospital laboratory has an extremely positive environment, with a focus on great communication. The hospital has a new, modern feel. Great cooperation between all departments allows the team to give great care in a rural environment for patients from birth through geriatric. Many specialty services are available. Hospital serves a vibrant, close-knit community in southeast Kansas.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: BS/BA/AS degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or science/health-related field. Must meet CLIA education requirements for high-complexity testing.
Licensing/Registration/Certification
Required: MT/MLS (ASCP) or equivalent plus continuing education to maintain CM, if applicable. Certification/Licensure in a specialty area will be considered. Must meet CLIA requirements for high-complexity testing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
