Providing companionship, conversation, and engagement in functional activities Teaching daily living skills based on individual support plans Assisting with or providing full support for personal care/hygiene needs (bathing, dressing, grooming) Transporting to appointments and activities in company vehicle Assisting with routine health needs (administering medications) Observing, documenting, and reporting data on daily activities Some
Qualifications:
Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required Compassion for helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities Must successfully pass criminal background check Must be a safe driver and have a valid driver's license Flexibility in assigned working location based on client needs Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals with and without adaptive equipment #id23sek.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
